Legal Training Camp for Dalit Rights

Intending to spread awareness about Dalit’s rights and to bring balance in the society, Community Radio Station- Kamalvani 90.4 FM in association with the Centre for Dalit Rights, Jaipur, organized a one-day Legal Training Camp for Dalits in Campus of its parent organization-Kamalnishtha Sansthan on Feb 2, 2014. People were made aware of the existing Law for the welfare and protection of Dalit’s rights by Mr Satish Kumar. The chief guest of the program, social worker and patron of the centre, Mr P. L. Mimroth inaugurated the Branch of Centre for Dalit Rights in Kamalnishtha Sansthan for the districts Jhunjhunu, Sikar, and Churu to reduce the exploitation activities against Dalits. Smt. Suman Devthia, state coordinator of Centre for Dalit Rights stressed the need of Jan Chetna.
